Welcome to ALEBRIJES, place full of magic located in km 20 of the Tilarán - Fortune highway, a site privileged by the nature with wonderful landscapes and many forms of flora and fauna.

Alebrijes is a place to share with friends and family.

Here you will find 3comfortable cabins with a great view to imposing Lake Arenal. Each cabin has a queen size bed and is prepared to lodge 3 people, equipped with microwave, fridge, electric hot plate and coffee maker.

The rates are very appropriate for those looking for a very nice place to stay without paying a lot in hotels, so that way budget is bigger for fun and activities.
From here you can see the famous Tico-Wind windsurf and kite boarding site.
We are located just 2 minutes from the road that connects Tilaran to La Fortuna, in a very private area.

If you are interested in going to different tours, La Fortuna is just 40 minutes from here. In La Fortuna Area you will find Tabacon Hot Springs, Baldi Hot Springs, La Fortuna waterfalls, hanging bridges (just 30 hour from the house), Sky Tram, ATV tours.From Monteverde we are 1 hour and 25 minutes, because you cantake the way thru Tilaran.Rio Celeste and Tenorio Volcano is 1h 30 minutes from ALEBRIJES CABINS.

Taking Alebrijes Cabins as a base is very good, here you will be close to many different places.We are a little less than 4 hours from San Jose International Airport. And we are right in the main road that connects Tilaran and La Fortuna, the access is very easy.

From Liberia Airport we are just 1 hour and 30 minutes. The best thing to do is to land in Liberia Airport as it is closer to all the fun and exotic places that you want to see in Costa Rica.

We always recommend to our guests to rent a 4x4 car, since it will make things easier in Costa Rica, there is a lot of places to go and having a good car helps to enjoy the trip.

If you are landing in San Jose International airport late in the afternoon or at night we recommend you not to drive in the dark, we can suggest you a nice and reasonable place to stay just 5 minutes from the airport, that way you can come to Arenal Area in the morning and enjoy better the trip.
